Welcome Reception

On June 18, 2025, all ICSN 2025 conference delegates are invited to attend the Welcome Reception at Tivoli Friheden. The event will start at 7:00 PM and end around 8:30 PM. Admission is free.

Tivoli Friheden is a beautiful amusement park located in Aarhus, the City of Smiles.

The reception will take place at Herman's, where simple snacks and a glass of wine will be served while listening to the opening speech. Afterwards, we encourage you to network with the other participants, or to take a stroll through the beautiful Tivoli garden.

If you want to join the Welcome Reception, please register on the registration form before June 18, 2025. Upon registration, it is possible to indicate any special dietary requirements that need to be considered.

We recommend you to book a table at one of the charming restaurants listed below, both of which are located in Tivoli Friheden, as most restaurants in Aarhus do not serve food after 9:00 PM. The two listed restaurants will be open exclusively for ICSN guests. Please note that only ICSN guests with prior reservations will be served on the day, so we encourage you to book a table well in advance and no later than June 4, 2025.

The restaurants reserve the right to optimize seating capacity, meaning you may be seated with other ICSN participants.

Tivoli Friheden/Herman's is located approximately 2 km from the Conference Venue Centralværkstedet.

There is no organized transportation for the Welcome Reception, but we recommend walking through the charming neighborhood of Frederiksbjerg, known for its lively atmosphere and café culture.
