At ICSN 2025, we are introducing poster chairs and poster pitches to enhance the structure, visibility and engagement of our poster sessions.

Posters will be grouped in sets of 10 based according to thematic alignment. Each presenter will give a brief 2-3 minute oral summary of their research to highlight key findings efficiently. Following each poster pitch, approximately 2 minutes will be allocated for questions.  

The poster chair will play a crucial role in guiding the session by:

• Keeping the flow of presentations on schedule
• Managing audience engagement by encouraging brief discussions and directing questions
• Ensuring equal participation, giving all presenters the opportunity to share their work
• Preparing one or two questions in case the audience does not raise any
• Providing continuity by linking related topics within the session

This format preserves the interactive nature of traditional poster sessions while improving structure, time management, and the overall quality of discussion. The poster chair’s role is essential to creating a smooth, dynamic, and engaging experience for both presenters and attendees.
