He is a professor and chief physician in clinical social medicine and rehabilitation at Aarhus University and Central Denmark Region. For more than 30 years, Claus Vinther Nielsen has worked with rehabilitation in clinical work, teaching, research and counseling.
In his involvement with RIWC 2021, Claus Vinther Nielsen will apply his expertise to the following areas: Age-related Disabilities & Impairments, Social Exclusion & Persecution, Cross-sectoral Rehabilitation, Marginalization, Participation.
CEO of the World Congress. Vicechair of the Commission of Leisure, Recreation and Physical Activity of RI. Member of the Danish Paralympic and Special Olympic Board of Directors. Since 1999 Manager at MarselisborgCentret, a national center for rehabilitation and serves as National Secretary of RI Denmark.
In his involvement with RIWC 2021, Jan Sau Johansen will also serve as Chair for the Funding & Finance Committee and will apply his expertise to the following areas: Congenital Diseases & Impairments, Groups/Individuals on the Edge of the Laws of Society, Habilitation, Participation, Sport & Recreation.
Senior researcher at REHPA, Danish Knowledge Centre for Rehabilitation and Palliative Care and head of Master’s degree in rehabilitation, University of Southern Denmark. Jette’s research embraces rehabilitation in neurodegenerative disease and ageing, including specific interventions and theoretical understandings, the coordination of rehabilitation and palliative care, and intersections between institutionalized understandings and lived experience.
Jette is educated OT, MHH, and holds a PhD in ageing and rehabilitation.
