028 - A comparison of methods for modelling multi-state cancer progression using screening data with censoring after intervention
Biography
Eddymurphy Akwiwu is a doctoral researcher at the Decision Modelling Center of the Amsterdam UMC, The Netherlands. His research focuses on developing novel statistical methods for multi-state models, specifically applied to cervical cancer screening and colorectal cancer screening. These methods aim to accurately estimate both the population-average and personalized risks of developing precursor lesions and cancer which could be used in evaluating the effectiveness of existing screening and surveillance strategies outlined in international guidelines.
