Biography
Dr Christine Campbell is a Reader at the Usher Institute at the University of Edinburgh. She leads a programme of research into socio-demographic and ethnic disparities in cancer outcomes, the role of primary care in screening provision and symptomatic diagnosis, and implementation of cervical screening in low resource settings.

Biography
Dr Sanchitha Chandar, Chief Operating Officer at Sri Shankara National Centre for Cancer Prevention and Research, is dedicated to cancer prevention and improving healthcare access in underserved areas. She leads Sarva Rakshana, an innovative programme combining cancer screening, prevention, and education through mobile units and village-based interventions. A recipient of the ICMR Grant and PRAISE Award, Dr Chandar integrates research with practical implementation. Her work focuses on understanding the biology of pre-cancer transitions and promoting health awareness among youth through interactive seminars. She is committed to advancing community health and early detection in line with Sri Shankara Cancer Foundation's mission.

Biography
I am a medical doctor with 16 years of experience in health systems strengthening, public policy, and implementation research. Currently, I serve as a Public Health Officer at the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC/WHO). In this role, I lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of equitable multi-cancer early detection research aimed at improving cancer outcomes globally, with a particular focus in low- and middle-income countries. I also provide technical assistance in developing and implementing policies and programmes for cancer prevention and early detection. Previously, I led national policy response for NCDs in Malaysia.

Biography
Epidemiologist, head of the Epidemiology and Screening department (CPO-Azienda Ospedaliero Universitaria Città della Salute-Turin (Italy), WHO Collaborating Centre for early detection and screening since 2014. Research fields: Breast and cervical cancer screening organisation and evaluation, risk-based screening, randomised trial on cancer screening compliance, communications and psychological aspects in secondary cancer prevention interventions, cancer screening by immigrant and minority women; cancer screening in developing countries and in low-resource settings; smoking prevention and control; cancer screening and healthy lifestyle promotion interventions (diet, physical activity and tobacco consumption).
