Biography

Scott Antle is a Provincial Manager in the Cancer Care Program of Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services where he manages the NL Colon Screening Program, the Smoking Cessation in Cancer Care Program the Cervical Screening Initiatives Program. He is a member of multiple screening networks with the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer and volunteer chair of the Board of Directors of the Newfoundland and Labrador Alliance for the Control of Tobacco.

Biography

Dr. Tomas Grega, M.D., Ph.D. is an attending physician at the GI Endoscopy Unit at the Military University Hospital in Prague and an Assistant at the 1st Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in Prague. His clinical and research focus is on colorectal cancer screening and advanced endoscopic techniques. He has co-authored 23 peer-reviewed publications with a total of 76 citations and is actively involved in multiple national research projects, including studies on colorectal cancer surveillance. He is the scientific secretary of the Society for Gastrointestinal Oncology and Board of Colorectal Cancer Screening in the Czechia.

Ethan A. Halm, MD, MPH, MBA is a tenured Professor of Medicine and the Vice Chancellor for Population Health at Rutgers University. In this role, he aims to advance Population Health initiatives in research, education, and clinical care across the Rutgers University schools of medicine, public health, nursing, pharmacy, health professions, dentistry, and graduate studies. He is also the Deputy Chief Population Health Officer for the Robert Wood Johnson Barnabas Health System, a 12 hospital regional healthcare network in New Jersey. He is a Multiple Principal Investigator in the US National Cancer Institute PROSPR cancer research consortium.

Biography

After college at Princeton University and medical school at Washington University in Saint Louis, I trained as a diagnostic pathologist and served as Director of Clinical Laboratories at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco USA. I currently serve as Executive Director of the Global Cervical Cancer Prevention Project (originally named the Viet/American Cervical Cancer Prevention Project) an all-volunteer non-profit organization that I established in 1996. I have contributed to cervical screening guidelines published by the World Health Organization, the International Agency for Research on Cancer, and other groups.

Brenda van Stigt holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Life Sciences and a Master's degree in Nutrition and Health. She is currently a second-year PhD candidate at the Erasmus Medical Center in Rotterdam, specializing in cancer screening. Her PhD focuses on the monitoring and evaluation of the Dutch population-based cancer screening programs.
