Biography

Dr Albers is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Zurich’s Institute for Implementation Science in Health Care with extensive organizational and research experience in promoting the uptake of evidence in healthcare policy and practice. Bianca's research focuses on ways to enhance the capacities of organizations and service systems to develop, implement, and sustain research-supported interventions, among others, in areas such as cancer screening and infection prevention and control. Systematic knowledge synthesis and qualitative methods are central tools in this work. Bianca co-founded the "European Implementation Collaborative" and serves as Co-editor-in-chief for the journal "Implementation Research and Practice."

Biography

Sherry Yueh-Hsia Chiu, Ph.D., is Professor in the Department of Health Care Management, College of Management at Chang Gung University since September 2009. She earned Ph.D. degree in Health Informatics and Decision Making from National Yang-Ming University and she was also a research fellow at Tampere School of Public Health and Finnish Cancer Registry (2007-2009) under Finnish-Taiwanese academic collaboration project. Her current research interests include preventive medicine, design and evaluation for screening, and health informatics.

Agnès Rogel holds a PhD in biostatistics. She has been lecturer in French University, and employed at the Institute of Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety. She joined the cancer team of Santé publique France in 2008. She worked on cancer surveillance using registry and health insurance data, and on cancers attributable to lifestyles and the environment. She is now responsible for evaluation of breast cancer screening.
