She currently works as a project manager at the Centre for Population Screening, part of the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) in the Netherlands.

Biography
Carlotta Magnani is a medical anthropology researcher. Since March 2024, she has been working at SESSTIM as a postdoctoral researcher on a study of health mediation for the prevention of cancers targeted by national screening campaigns.
In 2023, she defended a thesis entitled "Living Homeless in the 21st Century: A Sensitive Ethnography of Social Emergency in Marseille." Since 2013, she has contributed to research programs on the relationship between homelessness, health, and healthcare. Her work also examines alcohol consumption in shelters, challenges for homeless youth, the sex trade in extreme precariousness, and health measures for preventing Covid-19 transmission.

Lori Sakoda, PhD, MPH, is a translational epidemiologist and research scientist at the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Division of Research, who is dedicated to advancing early detection, control, and effective and equitable care of lung and other cancers. She is also an Associate Professor of Health Systems Science at the Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine. Her research primarily encompasses evaluating patterns of care, health disparities, and outcomes along the continuum from pulmonary nodule evaluation to lung cancer treatment and survivorship, as well as assessing the application of risk prediction models to optimize cancer screening.

Biography
Dr Lanxi Huang has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Education in language teaching and learning, a Master of Education in the professional development program evaluation, and a PhD in wellbeing science. She also has experience in counselling, research project coordination, and higher education teaching.
Lanxi aims to promote health for Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities in people-centred, contextually responsive, and systematic ways. Currently, she works on the Bowel Cancer Screening Alliance program as a research project officer at the Centre for Epidemiology & Biostatistics (CEB), School of Population and Global Health, the University of Melbourne.
