Biography
Anne Mette Fløe Hvass is a physician and researcher specializing in health inequalities, migrant health, and cancer screening. She lectures at Aarhus University on public health and cultural competence and has significant experience developing targeted health interventions for vulnerable populations. Anne Mette serves on the DASAMS Research Committee and the Society for Migrant Health. Her work focuses on improving access to healthcare through evidence-based approaches and fostering health equity. She is passionate about addressing disparities in screening participation among underserved groups, leveraging her clinical and public health expertise to create impactful, community-based solutions.

Biography
Jessica Calderon-Mora, DrPH, received her master’s and doctoral training at the UTHealth School of Public Health with a focus on health promotion and behavioral sciences. Her work focuses on health disparities and cancer prevention in the Latinx community.
She has served as co-investigator, co-program director and program director for several Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas-funded prevention programs. Her research focus has been primarily on cervical cancer screening and the human papillomavirus vaccination. Dr. Calderon-Mora is currently working to expand her work in HPV self-sampling and cervical cancer prevention among the Latinx community throughout Texas.

I hold a Master of Science in Public Health, and my current position is as a project officer in the Prevention and Information Department at the Danish Cancer Society. My primary focus is population-targeted communication about cancer screening. I specialize in quantitative methods to provide new insights about target groups and evaluate initiatives aimed at preventing cancer.

Sophie is investigating cervical screening awareness among women of low socio-economic position in Ireland to develop supports to promote engagement using an approach called co-design. Sophie's research uses qualitative and participatory methods and a health inequalities and behaviour theory lens. She has an MSc in Population Health from University College London.

Biography
Drs Inge van Strien is a postdoc researcher at Amsterdam UMC, with an original background in Health Psychology. In multiple projects she has investigated perceptions and barriers of people with varying levels of health literacy regarding population-based cancer screening. Design directions for communicating information about cancer screening were also explored. Inge van Strien is experienced in both qualitative and quantitative research, including participatory methods and co-creation of communication materials.
